Finding our path through life can be challenging, and even overwhelming at times. I offer a safe, supportive and compassionate place to confront life challenges, overcome obstacles, and resolve difficulties that may be standing in your way. I will work with you to help you find greater happiness, well-being and meaningfulness in life.

I individualize my approach with each person with whom I work. Drawing on more than 25 years of clinical experience, I have helped hundreds of adults and teens with anxiety, panic, phobias, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, and transitional stressors (like job loss, separation and divorce, remarriage and step-parenting, and academic and job pressures). I have helped numerous families resolve differences, improve communication, and work toward shared goals.

I offer specialized treatment to help individuals who have experienced past trauma or emotionally-troubling events. As a Certified EMDR Clinician, I can provide an effective treatment approach to overcome the negative effects of past trauma and trauma memories.  Most clients who participate in EMDR treatment arrive at a place where they are happier and no longer bothered by traumatic memories.
